Almost a year ago I started I kicked off my goal of being more active. I have had ups and down and even had to stop several times. The desire to push through never went away even when most morning during the last few months of 2018 I didn’t know how I was going to get out of bed.
When after literally years of attempting to figure out what was behind my chronic pain and tiredness I eventually had an answer. Fibromyalgia. This doesn’t make me feel better, but knowledge is power! I now learn everything I can about living with Fibromyalgia.
I like to believe everything is clear-cut, but this is not one of them. There are other factors at play for me personally. The worst affected areas are those with prior problems. I was diagnosed with Scheuermann’s as a young teenager and tore the labral lining of both my hips when I was pregnant. The latter had been a slow natural healing process which resulted in much reduced joint mobility. The Scheuermann’s as predicted stopped progressing when I finished growing but had a lasting impact with gradually increasing pain through the years.
This blog is my journey of becoming a better version of myself no matter the circumstance.
If you are living with Fibromyalgia, deal with chronic pain and stiffness or you are pushing through something to be more, drop me a comment. I would love to hear from you.
